Advanced Middle School Summer Camp auditions will be January 30, 31, February 2 and 3.
Kids auditioning for our advanced summer camp have to have been in more than 2 PDC shows.

**PDC has been around for 9 years! We are proud of the work we’ve done with kids in the Portland area. We adjust our programs and policies based on the desires, efforts and abilities we see in our students, feedback from families and input from our hard working, trained theater staff. As PDC grows we may change our audition policies. For now, to honor our most experienced and dedicated kids, we will not make exceptions to our qualifications.
In our current advanced group of 30 students, 21 of them have been in PDC camps, classes and shows since kindergarten or 1st grade. All of them have previously been entrusted with lead roles.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
(any students entering 8th through high school who already have a solid theater foundation)
auditions will be April 11, 12 and 13 with callbacks April 20.

Advanced Middle School after school program
PDC EXPERIENCED current 5th - 7th graders can audition to potentially be part of our advanced middle school after school program. Space is very limited. We accept students who have a proven track record of coming to rehearsal regularly, on time and prepared while having a great attitude towards all. The experienced advanced student has demonstrated great instincts on stage and shown a willingness to take risks. An advanced student is interested in learning how to be a better actor and working at a faster pace and is trusted with more independence than in previous programs. They have a solid work ethic and know what it takes to put on a great show. More details for Fall 2025 coming soon.
